I've found this faq before but I actually went back and re-read parts of it for clarification.

I've been brushing up on my DVD backup skills so I thought I'd troll the forums and IRC rooms and look for more tricks. I'm still pretty bugged about the death of DVD Decrypter and now I'm looking for a future tool to use.
I'm looking pretty hard at this company in Antigua. Check them out and you might recognize the clonedvd software. Appearantly they've moved to Antiqua which lacks the copywrite oversight of the European union and the American court system.
I really dig their AnyDVD driver concept. It will strip out the Copywrite protection at the driver level. Sweet! You still need to use your own encoder but everyone already has an encoder in most cases like Nero or Roxio.
That's it just thought I'd share. If you're feeling adventerous I still find Doom9 to be the best website on planet earth for you self-studying DVD enthusiasts.
