My day

I thought I'd fire off a quick one tonight.

My son completed his first day at the Lonoke Exceptional School. It's a school for children with learning delays. Learning delay is the new "in" PC term for what I grew up knowing as a learning disability. I guess that by saying delay it implies that the deficiency can go way with rehab while a disability is more permanent.

Either way it's tough on him changing daycare providers and having to adjust to a new routing, teacher, and fellow students. The school lasts from 8 to 3 so it's also longer than what Mason was used to. He was only going to daycare from like 10 to 2 so I hope this all goes over well. This is also on top of his new molars coming in.

So yea my life sucks right now.

My craptastic day started out with a phone call from our company President in the wee morning of the hours. I love our President and all but you don't want him calling you at home at 5 in the morning. It's never good news.

I can't wait for my new/old boss to come back from the field. He's in Vegas right now but when he gets back we can get around to doing some more training on my new job responsibilities and we can also get some more work done. Right now he's out so I'm stuck doing my new job which I'm still learning how to do and I'm doing all the firefighting that I used do in addition to whatever firefighting he used to handle. So it doubly sucks. I have skipped lunch most days and I've been coming in early and leaving late to compensate.

I'm not going to go off on some weird triple HHH monoblog tonight but I just wanted to remind my friends of a couple quick things:

1. Skype has an updated client out so pull it down it helps cut back on non-mike use echoes.
2. Teamspeak is probably going to be our new VOIP in game chat of choice client.
3. Hurry up and pick up source when you get a chance.
4. My Sour Skittles have been depleted so you bitches better help me buy some desk candy.
