My First Weak Little Post
This is my first blog post and it will probably shudder and die eventually as I continuously, feverishly check to see if anybody cares what I have to say.
I started this blog out of sheer numbness. As a semi-proffesional heldesk technician (I say semi since I have no degree or certification of any sort, unless you count the chuckie cheese university diploma i received years ago) I must say that having a web presence of somekind is almost a requirment in the world of semi-proffessional knowledge-worker geekdom.
This is of course unless your running *nix at home, but linux at home only counts if your you are really running Linux. If you go reboot your computer and load linux only before your nerdy friends come by to visit then it doesn't count.
I have zero idea if this blog will every have any purpose other than to fill that long, dark, teatime of my soul (thank you for all the fish Mr. Adams).
I may just wax eloquently on my current misives for the day which are aplenty considering the trials I endure on the phone at work (not chuckie cheese). I may end up actually leaving this link scribed into some bathroom wall of a walgreens somewhere in the hope that someone other than my mother may read what I have to say.
If this blog every generates any real traffic then I will probably feel compelled to actually put something useful on the site but that remains to be seen.
I hope this site finds you in better spirits.
