I have a painful story which I will not regale you with but let me just say that you should measure once and cut twice.  Or read it twice before you do it.  If youre not sure RTFM.  (I'm not mad).

If you are ever installing a motherboard please remember your standoffs.  This will literally burn you and set your board on fire if you are not careful.
